		Teesside Nautical Studies is part of Middlesbrough's Life Long Learning Department and is a unique facility offering educational subjects in an exciting and stimulating way. At key stage two, head teachers and staff tell us that the children who have been on a river trip absorb information across the whole curriculum. Our teachers support pack gives teaching staff a background to the River Tees, important safety information, and worksheets. Please read our Guidance Notes for Visiting Staff.

For older children, the adrenaline packed RYA Powerboat courses offers a Nationally recognised qualification.

		A days fishing and powerboating is always popular but for the development of life skills and interpersonal relationships, a residential cruise to the Farn islands, Bridlington or further afield can not be equalled.
