		Teesside Nautical Studies is a Royal Yachting Association recognised training establishment for Shorebased and Practical courses. As a R.T.E. we are inspected on a regular basis by RYA inspectors to ensure that their strict requirements for recognition are being complied with.

RYA Shore based courses:
Day Skipper Theory Suitable for beginners and crew who would like to become actively involved in navigation.
		Small Craft First Aid A one day first aid course designed for small boat users.
GMDSS Short Range Certificate A one day course which replaces the Restricted VHF Operators Certificate for small boat use.
		Radar Course Radar, an invaluable aid to navigation and collision avoidance, but only in the hands of a knowledgeable operator.
C.E.V.N.I. European Inland Waterways Test Essential if you intend to navigate the inland waterways of Europe.
